A fitting tribute to the great man
Bill McLaren, the well known rugby commentator, was a life-long friend of Hawick rugby and a frequent visitor to our club. This room was established many years ago to recognise the contribution Bill made to Hawick Rugby Club and rugby the world over. It has a collection of photographs, paintings and “big sheets” of the “Voice of Rugby”.
This room, which has a small bar/serving area, is ideal for private meetings of up to 20 people or small dinners. It can also be used job interviews, or changing/rest facilities for wedding parties etc.
It is quiet and completely private from the rest of the facility, enjoys Wi-fi access and has a separate entrance.
